Return & Refund Policy

We stand behind every product we make. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll work with you to fix it.

30-Day Returns
Standard, in-stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return
Contact us at sales@alertlightingco.com or (800) 956-8213 with your order number and the reason for the return. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom and made-to-order products, including W-Series warning signs, custom legends, custom colors and custom LED retrofit kits
  • Items that have been installed, modified or damaged after delivery
  • Sale or clearance items

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before ordering. We’re happy to help you choose the right product.

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
Please inspect your order when it arrives. For freight (LTL) deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Contact us within 5 business days if an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, and we’ll make it right with a replacement, repair or refund.

Warranty Claims
Our products are covered by manufacturer warranties, including 5-year coverage on LEDs and solar panels for our solar signs. Warranty terms for each product are listed on its product page. For warranty service, contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and photos if possible. We’ll repair or replace covered items at no charge.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether it’s approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. For purchase-order or invoice payments, we’ll issue a credit or check to the paying organization. Your bank or agency may take additional time to process the refund.
