Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

You can purchase our products directly through our website or contact our sales team for assistance. We offer competitive pricing and can provide bulk order discounts for large projects. We accept all major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. We also accept payments by check or ACH for approved accounts.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, we charge sales tax for orders placed within Wisconsin. If you are tax-exempt, please email your tax-exempt certificate to sales@alertlightingco.com. We’ll then send you a custom invoice with tax removed.

What if I'm Tax Exempt?

If you're tax-exempt, no problem, email your exemption certificate to sales@alertlightingco.com after placing your order. We'll verify it and refund any tax that was charged. You can also contact us before ordering to have tax removed ahead of time.

Ordering and delivery

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, @ sales@alertlightingco.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

What is the standard lead time for orders?

Our standard lead time typically varies depending on the size and complexity of the order. While many orders are fulfilled within 2-5 business days, LED Traffic Signs, larger, or more customized orders may take 1-2 weeks or longer. Please contact us for a more accurate estimate based on your specific order.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most regions worldwide, including the USA, Mexico, and Canada. Please contact sales@alertlighitngco.com to explore all shipping options. 

Do you offer same-day shipping?

Yes, we offer same-day shipping for LED replacements, dock lights, loading dock caution signs, and other shelf items. Please note that LED signage, street lights, and communication kits are made to order, and their shipping times may vary depending on location.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Are your LED signs compliant with industry standards?

Yes, all of our LED signs meet or exceed industry standards, including full compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This ensures that our products deliver top-quality performance and reliability while adhering to national safety guidelines.

What type of posts can Alert Lighting Co. LED signs be installed on?

Our solar-powered LED signs can be mounted onto any standard signpost. They are most commonly installed on square, round, or U-channel posts using standard mounting hardware for quick and reliable installation. For 36-inch signs or installations in high-wind areas, we recommend using heavy-duty steel posts set in concrete to ensure long-term stability and performance.

How do solar-powered LED lights work?

Our solar-powered LED lights use energy from the sun to charge during the day and illuminate at night. They are equipped with high-efficiency solar panels and batteries that store energy for use after dark, making them an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for lighting.

Do the signs flash continuously or only when vehicles approach?

Our signs flash continuously (24/7) for maximum visibility. This ensures drivers and pedestrians are alerted at all times—day or night. Radar-activated versions are not currently available.

How long does the battery last?

Our new lithium batteries are built for long-term performance, though exact lifespan can vary depending on climate, sunlight, and usage. With our latest high-capacity battery and upgraded charge controller, current systems are designed for multi-year reliability. When fully charged, each battery can power the sign for up to 55 days without solar input.
